The infrastructure for this project was built around a Crestron Digital Media control system which served all the rooms within the 14,000 sq ft property. All rooms were fitted with B&W in-ceiling speakers and had access to central sources for audio distribution.
Over 12 additional Panasonic Plasma screens were installed within various rooms, all of which had access to centrally located Sky HD & Foreign satellite boxes, along with Apple TV's and Blu-Ray players. All rooms were controlled using Crestron hand held remotes with additional iPad control options in the main rooms.
The cinema room was taken back to its shell and acoustic treatment was applied to walls, floors and ceilings to sound proof the room. An acoustic fabric system by Cinematech was installed to conceal the in-wall Leon speakers and subwoofers. Amplification and processing was provided by Audio Design Associates power amplifiers and video processing equipment in the racks. A Digital Projection projector was installed on a Future Automation in-ceiling projector drop mechanism and a IMAGE 2-way masking, acoustically transparent screen was used with a bespoke batman print chosen by the client. CinemaTech custom made seating was also provided by London AV Solutions completing the look of this superb home cinema.
